I’m Himanshu Bhardwaj, an AI engineer building production systems that domain experts can audit, not just trust.
Most recently I led agentic medical-literature extraction at Bridge Medical (Red Nucleus). Before that, KalqylAI, the real-time and long-form financial-research bots that reach 4.6M readers a year.
Day to day, my work lives in NLP and LLM-based applications: designing efficient data pipelines and taking projects from conception to deployment. I like owning the whole picture, the interface a person actually touches, the observability underneath, and the judgment of when a system should run on its own versus keep a human in the loop.
Over the past few years I’ve built AI products across a few domains: financial AI, enterprise AI, data pipelines, and literature research in healthcare.
My life has been a bit of a roller coaster, from a small village to small towns to big cities, picking something up at every stop. I want to keep going: to become a better thinker, a sharper problem solver, and a better person. I’m happiest at the intersection of research, exploration, and deep technology: finding a new way to think about a problem, building it, and watching it actually work :)
The problems I care about most tend to be human-centric. My latest personal project, still ongoing, grew out of a meditation retreat: a meditation assistant and journaling tool (GitHub). If you enjoy new problems and good teams, I’d love to collaborate, reach out.

Full /nowRecently led agentic extraction at Bridge Medical across two tracks: laying the engineering foundations under the existing notebook workflow so the whole team could use it (cutting turnaround roughly in half), and designing a structured, audit-first extraction approach. Now building a meditation assistant and open to new AI engineering work, freelance or full-time.
